Atlanta’s LT’s Wings Increases Customer Retention with NCR Silver POS

Lemon pepper flavored wings are all the rage at LT’s Wings, and they’re on many noteworthy lists as some of the best in Atlanta. But that’s not all that’s great about LT’s.

“Originally the business opened in 1996, and was owned by Tim Crim, who named it after his daughters, Lauren and Taylor. When I bought the restaurant in 2002, I changed the meaning of the name LT’s to ‘Loving Touch,” says George. And he says that he would not think of changing it because it’s become a household name in the Atlanta community.

Today, George runs the quick-service restaurant with the assistance of Doris (his wife), George III (their son) and other extended family members, making it a true family-owned and operated business.

They’ve also developed a rewards system for their most loyal wing lovers. “For every 10 or more wings that you buy per visit, you get a punch. After the 10th punch, on the next visit you get 10 free wings in your favorite flavor of choice. Our customers love this frequent purchaser punch card promotion,” says Doris.

Easy employee management tools

The owners also use NCR Silver to manage their employees and payroll hours.

“I love that we can audit what our cashiers are doing,” says George. “It’s also nice to be able to download the excel spreadsheet to take a deeper dive into hours worked and use that for payroll.”

While LT’s currently only has one location, they plan on expanding with one or two additional stores in the future, and they’re happy that NCR Silver offers the ability to scale with them.
